About Discassette Music Folders

Discassette have been hand making music folders to traditional designs for over 60 years. The business started as part of a music shop called Art Nash in Penge, London. It changed hands in the 60’s and as it grew changed from selling music, instruments and accessories to selling records (discs) and tape (cassettes). The shop changed its name to Discs and Cassettes which became Discassette. However all this time the business continued to make and supply high quality traditional choir and orchestra folders.

Many of our customers still have music folders with a label showing the old Penge address.

When the then owners decided to call it a day in 2002, the Penge shop closed and the music folder part, now firmly established as Discassette, was moved to Ely Cambridgeshire where it continued under the control of the same family.

In time retirement beckoned, the business transferred to new ownership in 2018 and now operates from premises in Little Paxton, Cambridgeshire. We have made significant investment into new equipment and expanded the range of designs and optional extras. We are committed to our customers and maintaining the high quality of our traditional music folders.
